Changing
EU Demand
Power demand is increasing at a
rate of about 2% year on year across the EU. This
means that regulators are having to ensure that
networks are investing in new capacity to meet
this demand. The demand growth projections for
the next 15 years are given below, showing that
a 20% increase, around 137 GW, is required by
